HOW IT WORKS

Every trade fuels the vault.

01

Mooncoin trades. SPCX flows in.

Mooncoin is the token that powers the product. Its trades generate 0.69% in fees, paid in tokenized SPCX. Those fees go into a shared vault.

02

The fees grow the vault.

The vault collects SPCX. Part of each day’s inflow funds new shares; the rest adds SPCX backing to the shares already held.

03

Burn Mooncoin. Mint Orbit.

Use Mooncoin to obtain Orbit, a token representing your share of the vault. The Mooncoin you pay is burned, permanently removed from circulation.

USING ORBIT

Getting in. Getting out.

The rules behind minting and exiting your shares.

How do I mint new Orbit?

New Orbit is available through a daily auction. Each auction runs for 24 hours, beginning at market open. You pay in Mooncoin; successful payments are burned and you receive Orbit shares.

The auction uses a Dutch format: its asking price starts higher and decreases over time according to the auction rules. Winning means buying shares at the available auction price.

Only sold inventory becomes new Orbit. SPCX allocated to unsold shares stays in the vault without new shares issued against it.

Can I sell or transfer Orbit?

Yes. Orbit is freely transferable. You can hold it, send it to another wallet, or sell it on Uniswap. A sale receives the market price available at the time.

How does redemption work?

Redemption is the route for exchanging your Orbit shares for their exact backing in SPCX. Request redemption, wait through a 5-day cooldown, then receive SPCX according to the contract rules.

Redeemed shares reduce the Orbit supply. The cooldown applies to redemption, a separate process from selling shares on Uniswap.
